All works are to be played by heart. Each candidate may choose the order in which he/she wishes to perform his/her programme.

 

Selection/Preliminary audition file (max. 30 min)

a) One work from classical style at candidate's free choice

b) One work at candidate's free choice

 

Recital I : (max. 35 candidates - max. 25 min)

a) A Toccata chosen from the following list:

- Robert Schumann		Toccata in C op. 7
- Camille Saint-Saëns		Toccata from 5th Concerto, op.  111
- Maurice Ravel		Toccata - last movement of his Suite for piano Le Tombeau de Couperin
- Serge Prokofiev		Toccata op. 11

                   

b)    Frederic Chopin : One of the following "Preludes" sequences :

- N°1 to 8
- N°9 to 16
- N°17 to 24

 

Recital II : (max. 15 candidates -max. 40 min)

a) Ludwig van Beethoven : a sonata chosen from the following list :

Semi-Final : (max. 8 candidats -  max. 60 min)

Programme at the free choice of the candidate. Works already performed in other rounds may not be repeated. The originality and the choice of the repertoire and its variety will also be a determining factor. The total duration of the performance may not exceed 60 minutes.
