The 74th Geneva Competition will be offering percussion & composition. The percussion competition will be held from 11-21 November 2019 in Geneva, Switzerland. Application deadline: 2 May, 2019

Candidates
34 candidates aged 19-29 years old and from 12 countries have been selected to participate in the Percussion Competition of the 74th Concours de Genève.

Percussion competition 2019:
- 2 May: Application deadline
- 3-4 June: Preselection round
- 9 November: Welcome day in Geneva
- Monday 11 November: 1st round
- Tuesday 12 November: 1st round
- Friday 15 November: 2nd round
- Saturday 16 November: 2nd round
- Monday 18 November: Semi-final round
- Thursday 21 November: Final round with orchestra

- Solo programme at free choice, with possibility of pieces with electronics and/or video (max. 25')
- Compulsory Concerto for percussion and orchestra
